Suboxone is a medication that is used to treat opioid addiction. It is a partial
opioid agonist, which binds to the same receptors in the brain as opioids, but
does not produce the same high. Suboxone is taken as a pill or film that
dissolves under the tongue. Opioid addiction treatment utilizes Suboxone to
help reduce drug cravings and physical withdrawal symptoms.
Suboxone treatment can be accessed through providers who have completed
special training and are certified by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental
Health Services Administration). Proactive Care and Wellness can help you
create a personalized treatment plan that fits your schedule and needs.
Suboxone treatment is often successful because it allows individuals to
maintain their daily routine while receiving medication-assisted treatment. We
can offer same-day appointments (only seen by appointment) We offer virtual
appointments, which can be helpful for those who, have busy schedules, or
have difficulty with transportation but still want compassionate outpatient
